Special Events
Taste of the Holidays – This festive November event spotlights the delicacies of local food and catering companies. Complete with holiday decorations, live music and auction, the “Taste” is sponsored by Arcata Sunrise Rotary and benefits their Overseas Student Exchange Program.
Dell’ Arte Theater’s Mad River Festival – It is always an honor to help sponsor this month-long summer festival that brings world-class theater directly to the people. Dell’ Arte Theater of Blue Lake is one of Humboldt County’s gems.
Donations
The Tofu Shop frequently donates organic food items to support a variety of local organizations and events. These range from environmental stewards to elementary school fundraisers to Humboldt County’s famous Kinetic Sculpture Race. Each year, we donate over $1,500 worth of products to almost 40 organizations and $2,000 in surplus products to the North Coast Resource Center, a local food bank.
